Every Raynet user has their own profile, where they can adjust personal information, language and date format, account security, notifications, or calendar behavior. The settings apply only to your account; nothing changes for other colleagues. This article will guide you through the profile and refer you to separate guides for more detailed settings.
You set up your profile yourself. The administrator also has access to the profiles of other users and can change most things for them (where this does not apply, we indicate in the respective section).
Where to Find My Profile
Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select My Profile.
In the blue menu on the left, select the section you want to edit.
If you make any changes to your profile and then want to switch to another section or back to Raynet, we will ask if you want to leave without saving. Changes are saved by clicking the Save button.
The administrator opens another user's profile via Settings » User Accounts and selecting a specific user. The menu and sections are the same.

Localization
In the Localization section, you can set the language and formats you work with in Raynet:
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Language | The language in which the application is displayed |
| Time Zone | Times for activities and other records are displayed according to this |

The language setting is individual for each user, colleagues in the same account can work in different languages. What does not get translated after changing the language and how the change is reflected can be found in the guide Changing Language.
Account Security
Several sections in the profile relate to who and how can access your account:
Change Password: the procedure and the difference between changing your own password and another user's password can be found in the guide Change Password.
Two-Factor Authentication: in addition to email and password, when logging in, you also enter a six-digit code from a mobile app (such as Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy). You activate it yourself: scan the QR code, write down the generated code, and click Activate Two-Factor Authentication. In case of losing your phone, you can generate one-time backup codes (Generate New Backup Keys) and store them in a safe place. The procedure is in the guide Two-Factor Authentication at Login.
Login History: shows logins for the last 12 months. In the table, you will see the login date (Login), Device Type, IP Address, and Location. You can filter the list by date and download it to a table by clicking Export. More in the guide Security Settings and Login History.
Connected Devices: a list of mobile devices you are logged into the mobile version of Raynet. You can have a maximum of 3 devices logged in at the same time. By removing a device from the list, you will log out of it, which is useful in case of losing your phone. You can add a new device by clicking Add New Device: install the mobile app and log in with your username and password, or scan the QR code from the login page. More in the guide Connected Devices.
User Permissions: shows what records you can see (for example, only your own, or records of all users). This setting can only be changed through the administrator.
Notifications
In the Notifications section, you choose which changes Raynet should inform you about and how (notification in Raynet, email, mobile app, or summary email). The settings are divided by record types, such as Clients, Deals, Activities, or Emails.
Whether you can adjust notifications in your profile is determined by the administrator. If this option is turned off, you will see read-only settings that apply to everyone equally. If you have adjusted notifications and want to return to the settings set by the administrator, use the link Restore Default Settings next to the save button.
Individual types of notifications are explained in the guide Notification Settings.
Calendar
In the Calendar section, you set the default behavior of the calendar and activities:
| Setting | What It Determines |
|---|---|
| Start of Working Hours, End of Working Hours | How your working hours are displayed in the calendar |
| Default Activity Type | What type of activity is pre-selected when creating |
| Duration of Activity | Default length of a new activity |
| Open Calendar in Mode | Day, Week, or Month |
| When Opening the Calendar, Show Tab | Filters or Not Scheduled |
| When Setting Activity as Completed, Require Result Entry | By enabling this, Raynet will ask you for a result when completing an activity |
| Show Birthday Alerts for People | Birthday alerts in the calendar |
| Create Activities with Automatic Reminder of Start | New activities will receive reminders. Either the same for all types (Remind All Activity Types) or separately for Tasks, Meetings, Events, Emails, Calls, and Letters (Set Different Reminders by Activity Type) |
| Notify of Time Conflicts for Activities | For selected types of activities, Raynet will notify you when they overlap in time |
Detailed reminders for activities are described in the guide Activity Start Reminders.
Working Environment
Menu Settings: you can rearrange the order of main menu items by dragging and save it by clicking Save. More in the guide Menu Settings.
Tab Settings: you will only see this section in your own profile. More in the guide Tabs in Raynet.
Restore Default Settings
The Restore Settings section will return your user settings to their original state, as when you first turned on Raynet. Specifically:
the default set of panels will be displayed on the dashboard,
the original selection of columns, including their widths, will be restored for all list views,
calendar settings will be restored.
By clicking the red Restore Settings button and confirming the question "Do you really want to restore all user settings?" you will make the change. Use it only when you really don't know what to do with your own settings.
Restrictions and Permissions
Primary Email can only be changed by the administrator.
User Permissions can only be set by the administrator.
Whether you can adjust notifications is determined by the administrator.
The sections Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Tab Settings, and Email Settings are only displayed in your own profile, not to the administrator when viewing another user's profile.
You will only see the Trade Type and Phone System sections if the respective feature is enabled in your account.
Two-Factor Authentication can only be enabled by the user themselves; the administrator cannot enable it for them.
If Something Isn't Working
I don't see a section. Check the table in the Overview of Sections: some sections only appear in your own profile or only when the feature is enabled.
Notification settings cannot be changed. The administrator allows users to modify notifications. Please ask them for this.
The email cannot be changed. The Primary Email field can only be modified by the administrator.
When switching to another section, a message appears: “Settings not saved. Do you want to leave anyway?” You have not saved changes in the form. Stay on the page and click Save, or choose Yes, leave if you do not want to keep the changes.
Two-Factor Authentication reports “6-digit code is incorrect”. Write down the current code from the app, not an older one. Also, check that the time on your phone is set correctly.
When adding a mobile device, the message “Code is no longer valid, generate a new one” appears. The QR code has a limited validity; reopen the Add New Device dialog.
If you are unsure, contact us at support@raynetcrm.com, and we will gladly look at the settings together.
