All Products (goods and services) can be imported into Raynet in mass through an import template, which is in XLSX format.
Using the template, you can:
add new Products to Raynet,
update already recorded Products,
assign Products to Price Lists.
You can import or update up to 10,000 records at once. Only an Administrator can perform the import and update of products.
Product Import
You can find the import template in the dropdown under your name » in the Settings section.
In the menu, click on XLSX Data import » select Product Import.
Here you will find three steps. First, you will download the template to your computer.
Important: For each import, it is necessary to always download the current import template so that it contains the correct settings and all custom fields. In the import template, it is also necessary to preserve the original cell format; otherwise, the data may not be imported correctly into Raynet.
In the template itself, you will find instructions on how to fill it out. In the second step, you will upload the filled template back into Raynet from your computer. You can simply drag and drop it.
In the third step, the imported data will be checked. If everything is fine, you can start the import.
Import Errors
It may happen that errors occur during the import. In that case, the number of errors will be displayed, and upon clicking, you will also see information about the type of error and on which line it is located. Correct the error, save the file, and upload it again. If the import file is error-free, click the Run import button.
Important: If you do not correct the errors and still click the Start import button, only the data that is error-free will be imported into Raynet.
Product Updates
You can mass update products that you already have recorded in Raynet using the template. The procedure is the same as when importing new Products. First, you need to download the import template. In template, you will see a list of all products you currently have recorded.
If the products are assigned to Price Lists, they will appear in the template as columns at the end of each row of the table. You can easily add products to these Price Lists by defining the price in the respective column. This will automatically assign the Product to the price list.
Important: In the template, you can edit the values in all columns. But be careful, if you modify the Product Code, it will not be updated, but a new Product will be created.
