SmartEmailing is a Czech marketing application that allows you to send bulk campaigns (via email and SMS), surveys, or web forms. You can test this tool for free for the first 14 days.
What can the integration with SmartEmailing do?
Thanks to the connection with Raynet, you will have an overview of sent campaigns and details in both applications. In Raynet, the sent campaign (except for Smart campaigns) will be created in the Bulk Emails section and simultaneously transferred to the history of each recipient. Just export the contacts from Raynet that you want to send the email to, create the email content in SmartEmailing, and send everything. Only the administrator of the CRM account can activate the integration.
Activating the integration in SmartEmailing
First, create an account in SmartEmailing. You can register directly on their website.
After logging into the application, click on MY ACCOUNT » API Keys in the left menu.
Continue by clicking the + Create API Key button.
As the Name of the application, you can enter something like Raynet CRM, then Save.
Copy the generated key from. You will paste it into Raynet later.
Activating the integration in Raynet
Now log into Raynet and click the Settings, which you will find under your name.
Select Extensions » Activate SmartEmailing.
In the dialog box, click the Activate button.
The Username field is for entering the email address under which you registered your account in SmartEmailing. In the API Key field, paste the copied code. You can also specify whether bulk emails should be displayed as an activity in the history of recipients.
Activate the integration by clicking the Enable Integration button.
A new item Bulk Emails will be added to the main menu under Activities. Under this section, you will now find all sent campaigns, including the list of contacts to whom the email was sent and how the recipient reacted.
The detail card of the Bulk Email in Raynet looks something like this:
Exporting contacts from Raynet to SmartEmailing
To send a bulk email to your contacts from Raynet, you first need to transfer the contacts to SmartEmailing. Start by performing an export of selected contacts from the list (Accounts, Contacts, or Leads).
Important: Don’t forget to add the sender address in SmartEmailing beforehand (otherwise the export from Raynet will not work). You can find this option in Sending Settings » Manage Sender Addresses.
Filter the selected contacts in the list, if necessary. After selection, the Export » Export to SmartEmailing button will appear. You can select up to 200 contacts.
You can also find the Export to SmartEmailing under the three dots right next to Filtering. In this case, you can transfer up to 2500 contacts in one export.
For more detailed information on the entire export and data transfer process, refer to this article.
Unsubscribing a contact
If a customer unsubscribes from the newsletter from their email, they will be added to the so-called Blacklist (the list of unsubscribed contacts) in SmartEmailing. This information will also be transferred to Raynet (provided that the email address is identical on both sides). On the detail card of the contact (Lead, Contact, or Account), it will be marked as Do not send campaigns.
Important: The Do not send campaigns field will only appear on contacts if the integration with SmartEmailing is active. You can also unsubscribe directly in Raynet by manually marking the field and subsequently exporting the contacts. If the Lead, Contact, or Account is unsubscribed, they will be added to the Blacklist in SmartEmailing.
You can view the information about campaign subscriptions among the columns in the list view of Leads, Contacts, and Accounts. You can adjust the field using Bulk Changes.
We also transfer the field as part of the Export to SmartEmailing, which you can also find in the contact list (Leads, Contacts, and Accounts) under the three dots.
Contacts that have unsubscribed can easily be filtered in the list using Advanced Filter.
