Category and Classifications help you organize and segment records in your CRM more clearly. Using these fields, you can better organize, filter, and search contacts, companies, or business cases. They also make reporting and teamwork with data much easier. You can also rename these fields to fit your needs. These fields are available across all record types, and each type can use a different label.
Renaming Category and Classifications
If you want to rename these fields in any entity (for example, in Clients), go to your profile name » Settings.
In Settings, select Record Settings » Account.
Switch to the Field Settings tab » here you’ll find the Category field in the list, which you can rename by clicking the pencil icon.
Edit the field name and confirm the changes by clicking the Change button.
The new name will appear not only in the Account detail, but also in list views, filters, and exports.
You can also assign a color to the Category field.
