When you're unsure in Raynet, the AI Assistant is available on every screen. It's a chat where you can type your question in everyday language, and the answer starts to appear immediately, even before it's fully written. The Assistant is currently in BETA, so the features are still being developed.
You don't need to set anything up or have any special permissions: the assistant is available to all users.
Note, do not confuse it with the older offering Raynet AI, which helps write and edit text in emails or business cases. That continues to function and is described in a separate RAYNET AI article in the help section. The AI Assistant is a standalone chat that is not tied to any specific record.
Where to find the assistant
The assistant has its own button AI Assistant in the bottom right corner of the screen. It is visible throughout Raynet, regardless of which section you are currently working in or which record you have open.
Clicking the button opens the chat in a small floating window. You can adjust the size of the window according to your needs:
| Button in the chat window | What it does |
|---|---|
| Full window | Opens the chat as a separate tab named AI Assistant, which you can use like any other tab in Raynet. |
| Small window | Returns the chat from full-screen tab back to the floating window. |
| Hide chat | Closes the window and only the button remains in the corner. This does not delete the conversation. |
You can also open the chat when you have Settings or My Profile open – in that case, it will appear in a floating window over them.
How to ask the assistant
Click the AI Assistant button. On the main screen, you will see the heading How can I help? and below it a field for your query.
In the Ask anything field, type your question.
Submit it by pressing Enter or the Send button.
Wait for the answer. While the assistant is preparing it, you will see Thinking... and then the answer text will start to appear gradually.
If you don't need the answer to be completed, click Stop.
You can insert a new line in your query by pressing Shift + Enter or Ctrl + Enter. Just pressing Enter submits the query. The query field expands according to the length of the text, but it stops at four lines and scrolls further.
Below the completed answer, you will find the Copy answer button, which allows you to save the entire text to your clipboard and paste it into an email or note.
Ask as specifically as possible, and for a different topic, it's better to open a New chat so that things don't mix.
The answer is written in the background, so if you close the chat while it's being written or navigate elsewhere, it won't stop the answer. When you return to the conversation, you will see it completed. You can only stop it with the Stop button.
Chat history
Chats are saved for you, so you can return to them. In the left chat menu, you will find:
New chat – starts a blank conversation,
Pinned – chats that you have pinned. This section will only appear if you have at least one pinned chat,
Recent – other chats. Older ones will be pulled in as soon as you scroll down the list.
You can close the menu with the Close menu button and reopen it with the Open menu button to give the answer more space.
For each chat, you can open the Chat actions menu and you can:
Pin chat (later Unpin chat) – important conversations stay at the top,
Rename – the name can have a maximum of 255 characters,
Delete – before deleting, Raynet will ask you: “Are you sure you want to delete this chat? This action cannot be undone.”
Sources and answer verification
For some answers, you will find the View sources button (after expanding Hide sources). Below the answer, an item Sources will appear with links to help articles that the assistant may have drawn from when answering. This is useful if you want to go through the process in full, including images.
Two things are worth knowing:
The list indicates what the assistant had available, not which articles were actually incorporated into the answer. Some of them may not directly relate to your query.
Links lead only to trusted Raynet pages. If the answer contains a link elsewhere, Raynet will ask before opening Open external link? and offer Open link, Copy link, or Cancel.
Below each chat, there is always a warning: “AI may generate inaccurate information, please verify the outputs.” Take it seriously. The assistant is a helpful tool, but not infallible. Always verify important steps, such as bulk changes or permission settings, in the help section or with us.
What the assistant cannot do yet
To be blunt: the assistant currently does not have access to your data in Raynet. It cannot see your clients, business cases, or activities and cannot read or edit them. When you ask it to do so, it will respond, “I currently do not have access to your data in Raynet and cannot read or edit it.” It will also remind you that we are currently fine-tuning full data handling, including outputs in the form of graphs and tables.
What the assistant can do right now is answer questions about how Raynet works and how to do something in it.
If you want to connect AI to your data now, you can use MCP (Model Context Protocol) – a connection that securely links your AI assistant with Raynet. How to do this is described in the article MCP server.
Contact support directly from the chat
When the assistant cannot help, you can connect with our customer support directly in the chat. What exactly is offered depends on your pricing plan, application language, and whether it is currently business hours:
Chat with support – the Start chat with support button will forward your query to support along with the entire previous conversation, so you don’t have to explain anything from the beginning. We offer chat support in Czech, Slovak, and Polish. Outside of customer support hours, you will receive a response via email.
Email and phone – support contacts are displayed even without the chat. The more detailed you describe the problem, the faster we can resolve it.
Privacy and security
Data from chats with Raynet AI are confidential and not shared with third parties.
The assistant does not have access to your data in Raynet. It only processes what you write to it, so do not enter data into the chat that you do not need for your query, especially personal data of your clients.
You can delete the chat at any time in the Chat actions menu. Deletion cannot be undone.
Always check the answer before taking action based on it. AI may be inaccurate.
When something doesn't work
| Message in the chat | What usually causes it and what to do |
|---|---|
| “I apologize, but I am currently unable to connect to the server. Please try again.” | A temporary issue with the connection or our server. Check your internet connection and try sending the query again. If the message repeats, please contact us. |
| “I am currently processing a lot of requests. Please try again in a moment.” | The assistant is currently busy. Raynet will indicate in the message how long to wait before trying again (in minutes or hours). Then just send the query again. |
| “You have reached the limit of queries to the AI assistant. Please try again in a moment.” | You have exhausted the allowed number of queries. The message will indicate how many minutes or hours you can continue. |
| “Failed to load chat history.” | The chat list did not load. Try closing the chat and reopening it, or refresh the page. |
| “You currently have no chats here.” | This is not an error; you just haven't asked any questions yet. |
