With the Relationships Between Clients panel, you can link Clients to each other in different ways. This add-on can be useful when you want to keep records of collaborating companies, parent companies and subsidiaries, or, for example, multiple branches of the same company.
An account administrator can enable it in Settings » Record-Keeping Settings » Client.
You’ll find Relationships Between Clients on the first tab, General Settings. Enable it by selecting the checkbox.
After you enable this add-on, a new panel, Vazby na jiné klienty, will appear in the left column on the Client detail page. To create a link, click the Plus button or Link to Another Client.
Select the relationship type to another Client. You can set:
parent company,
subsidiary,
general link (e.g., partner or supplier).
In the next step, search for the Client you want to create a link with. Confirm with the Save button.
On the Client detail page, you’ll now see all linked companies. Clicking a linked Client takes you to its detail page.
For a parent company, you’ll also find information about what is Sold in the Group (the value of won Deals for the parent company and subsidiaries), or what is In Progress in the Group (open Deals).
You can also track group sales in the Client list view. Just display the Sold in the Group and In Progress in the Group columns.
If you don’t see these items among the columns, click the button with the pencil icon at the end of the row with the column names. A list of items will appear, and you can add them to the other columns by selecting the checkbox.
