When working in Raynet, you might come across situations where it’s helpful to link records contextually. For example, linking a Call to a specific Deal to clarify what was discussed during the conversation. These links can be added or removed via the Record context panel, which you will always find on the detailed card on the record detail card.
Adding a new link
As an example, let’s look at how to link a Call to a Deal. Open the detailed card of the Call and click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the Record context panel. From the menu that appears, select Deal. A list of all Deals related to the same Account will be displayed — simply click on the one you want to link to the Call. Then click Set to confirm your selection.
On the detailed Call card, in the Record context panel, a new link to the Deal will be added.
On the detailed card of the linked Deal, you will then find a reference to the Call in the Timeline and Linked Records tabs.
Removing the link
To remove the link to the Deal from the Call record, reopen the Call detail. In the Record context panel, click on the blue pencil and then click the blue cross next to the Deal field, which appears when you hover the mouse over the line. Confirm the change using the Set button.
