With the Smart Launcher feature, a user with any role in Raynet can easily search, open and create records.
To access this feature, press SHIFT twice when in the application. A search window will pop up.
After entering a word or abbreviation, a list of items somehow matching the entered text will be displayed. You can also scroll through the items using the keyboard and arrow keys. Confirm the selection by pressing Enter. For a better overview, maximize the window while searching.
Smart Launcher can find and open:
- record settings,
- user settings (basic information, password change, notifications, calendar, and more),
- user administration,
- record details,
- record list views,
- calendar, documents, analyses, and more.
It also lets you create a new record (e.g., Deal, Contact, etc.)
Important: In terms of security, just like in full-text search, a user who does not have permission to see a record will only see the record code and a lock icon indicating that they do not have sufficient permissions to see the record. A user who does not have the administrator role will not be able to access the Settings when using the Smart Launcher.
Smart Launcher does not work:
- in Settings,
- in My Profile,
- during the Introductory Tutorials when you start using Raynet,
- if a different pop-up window is open.
