The selected Deals can be included in Raynet as part of a Project and managed as a single contract. In Projects, you can discuss with colleagues, plan further steps, and track the phase of associated Deals. You will also see the total price of all Deals in the Project.
Projects can be useful, for example, for recording all contracts (Deals) you acquired at a trade fair and want to keep together. In this article, we will show you what the detailed card of a Project looks like and how to work with it.
Project Header
In the Project header, besides the Name and Code of the Project, you can also mark the Project as Favorite with a star. There is also information about the Owner of the record, when the Project was Created, and its Planned completion. On the right side of the header, you can add Activities to the Project using the green Plus button and view more actions by clicking on the three dots, which we cover in a separate article. There is also an option to temporarily switch to the original design. In this panel, you can also easily change the Status of the Project or mark it as Completed or Canceled.
Summary Values Panel
This panel shows the summary values of all added Deals, including their cost and profit values. There is also information about the average value of Deals and the case with the lowest and highest value.
Tabs Panel
In this panel, you can switch between individual tabs, which can also be customized using customization, or choose a default tab by clicking on the gear icon. On the far right, you will find Discussion.
Deals Tab
This tab displays all Deals included in the Project. You can add a new Deal to the Project or Link an existing one. You can maximize the entire window or add more columns using the pencil. These can also be rearranged and their width adjusted. At the end of each row for a Deal, there is a cross to remove the case from the Project.
Timeline Tab
In the Timeline tab, you will find the complete history of the entire Project, including what is still ahead and records linked to the Project. Clicking on individual records will display their details. You can directly Plan an activity, Export the entire Timeline, or generate a summary of the entire Project using the AI button.
Linked Records Tab
This tab displays all linked activities that you have completed or are upcoming within the Project. Columns in this tab work the same as in the Timeline, and you can also filter in Activities. You can add an activity here by clicking the + Add Activity button, and you can export the entire overview again. For better clarity, there is also an option to maximize the window and adjust the number of records in the tab using pagination. At the end of each row for an Activity, a menu of additional actions according to the type of record unfolds under the three dots button.
Notes Tab
To attach Notes to the Project, use the panel of the same name. Notes take the form of "sticky notes" and can include text, links, attachments, and a visible preview. You can differentiate them by color. We elaborate more on Notes in this article.
Custom Fields Tab
If you are recording Custom Fields in Raynet, you will find them in this tab. How to create Custom Fields is explained in this article.
Side Panels
The side panels on the right display additional information. You can change the order of these panels, and some of them can be moved to the tabs panel using Customization.
Panel of Record Context and Project Participants
This panel functions as a contextual window, where you find information about which records the Project is linked to. By clicking on the pencil, you can link the Project to other records.
If you need to include additional Clients or Contact persons in the Project, you can add them using the Plus button in the Project Participants panel.
Additional Panels
The additional panel displays Category, Description, and Tags. Categories can be color-coded and named. More about tags is discussed in this article.
In the right column, you will also find the Next Planned Activity and the Last Completed Activity.
Attachments and Stage Confirmation Panel
The other panel is used for inserting Attachments using the Plus button. Clicking on the three dots unfolds a menu for adding from other sources and options:
Download all files (ZIP)
Set order
Delete all attachments
You can then download, edit the name of, or delete the Attachment.
The last panel, State Confirmation, can be useful if you want to keep track in Raynet of who changed or reviewed a specific record and when, while also having that person’s signature linked to the action. You can learn more about this feature in this article.
