You can schedule a Phone Call in Raynet for yourself or your colleagues. It will then appear in the Calendar of the user to whom it is assigned. We recommend that you keep a record of all phone communication in Raynet, even if someone calls you. As soon as the call is over, write down what has been talked about during the call directly to Raynet. This will give you an overview of everything you have discussed with your Accounts.
Creating a phone call
The easiest way to create a Phone Call is directly from the Calendar. Click anywhere in the Calendar and select the activity type Phone Call or click the green plus button and select Phone Call.
A dialog box will open where you can fill in the Subject, Caller, Category and phone Call description fields. Using the checkboxes, you can mark the Call as either completed or private, i.e., not related to an Account.
You can also schedule follow-ups in the Calendar. Just right-click on the Call and select Create follow-up activity.
If the Call is related to a specific Account, it is best to create it directly from the Account detail.
You can create a Phone Call from the list of activities. That means from the Main Menu » Activities » Phone Calls » Green plus.
It is also possible to create Phone Calls from the main menu by selecting New record » Phone call, or in bulk from the Account or Contact list view. Just select the ones you want to create the Phone Calls for from the list. A green + Create button will appear. When you click on this button, a dropdown will open where you select Schedule Activity. Phone call reminder
A useful feature you can use for Phone Calls is the Reminder. Set it up in the Phone Call detail by clicking the bell icon. In this case, the person who sets the reminder will be notified. More about reminders can be found in this article.
Recurring phone call
If you have Phone Calls that happen on a regular basis, we recommend using the Create Recurrence feature. Click on the three dots » Create Recurrence.
Tip: If you would like to convert the Phone Call to a different activity type, it is possible. Simply click on the down arrow next to the Activity type and select a different one. We describe this further at the end of this article.
