In Raynet , you can manage your own portfolio of Products to simplify your work when creating product quotes for Deals , Quotes , Sales Orders , and other Account documents. In the Analyses section, you can then track how your Products are performing commercially. For example, how individual Products contribute to overall business results, their profitability, and more. Product prices in the CRM system are always displayed excluding VAT .
Creating a Product
To add a new Product, click on Main menu » Business » Products » Green plus .
The form to create a Product is simple—only the Name and Product Code fields are mandatory.
You have now successfully created your first product. Learn more about how to work with Products in the article Product Actions Overview .
Creating Products is restricted based on the user role . The role is assigned by the administrator in Settings » User Administration . You can find more about roles in the detailed article. A user with the role " Limited" does not create or edit Products, only includes them in Deals,where their selling price can be adjusted.

Detailed card of the product
The detailed card of a Product contains several panels. The top panel displays basic information such as Code , Name , Validity , Standard Price , Price with VAT , Unit , VAT rate , and Cost .
Clicking on any field in the panel opens the editor for that field, allowing you to easily modify its content.
There is also a three dots button that reveals Product actions. You can read more about them in this article.
You can add a Product image to the right panel and place Attachments under it by clicking the Plus icon. The three dots button opens a menu with more actions, including:
- Add link (WWW)
- Upload file from document library
- Upload folder from document library
- Connect files from Google Drive
- Connect files from Dropbox
- Download all files (ZIP)
- Set order
- Delete all attachments
Below the attachments panel, you'll find details such as Category of the Product, its inclusion in a Product line, Description, and Tags . At the very bottom, information about the Product's sales is shown.
In the bottom panel, along with the Discussion button, there are several tabs:
- Listed in Price Lists
- Product Sales
- Product Customers
- Notes
The Listed in Price Lists tab includes information such as the Code, Name of the Price List, its List Price, Currency, Costs, and VAT rate. You can Delete the Product from a Price List by clicking the cross at the end of the row. Use the + Add to another Price List button to add the Product to additional lists.
You can rearrange the columns, adjust their width, and restore the default layout by clicking the gear icon and selecting Reset column settings.
Add Products to a Price List by clicking + Add to another Price List.
When checkboxes are selected in the Price List tab, a button for Bulk Actions appears, allowing you to:
- Set VAT
- Set Price
- Set Costs
The Product Sales tab lists all Deals that include the Product. In this list view, you can customize column visibility, order, and width, filter the list, export it, or view it full-screen.
At the end of each row, click the three dots button to Create related record for the Deal, view its Security, Invalidate it, or Delete it. The pencil icon opens a menu to add more columns to the Product Sales list view.
The Product Customers tab works similarly and shows all Accounts who purchased the Product.
In the Note tab, you can Add notes to the Product. Notes can be titled, color-tagged, contain text, Set image, or Add attachment. Save changes. Click the trash icon to delete a note.
If you use Custom fields in Raynet, they will appear under the Custom Fields tab.
Click the Discussion button to open a dialog box on the right side of the screen. First, add participants. Then write a new post, which you can edit or delete. All participants can comment in thread or add new posts. You can Update or Delete the entire discussion from the top of the window.
