You can also create Quotes and Sales Orders in Raynet. Each of these records always has to be linked to a Deal. The linking ensures that the Quote or Sales Order copies the information from the Deal, making your job easier when you create them or when adding Products.
Enabling quotes and sales orders
First you need to check if you have Quotes and Sales Orders enabled.
Click on your name » Settings » Record Settings » Quote / Sales Order.
Click the Activate button. Enable or disable these record types whenever you want.
Quotes and Sales Orders can then be found in Business » Quotes / Sales Orders
Important: Sales Orders in Raynet are used to record Orders from your customers (Accounts), not supplier orders, where you or your company are the customer.
Creating a quote and sales order
In the main menu on the left under Business, Select Deals
In the list, select the Deal you want to link the Quote or Sales Order to. Click the Deal code to go straight to the Deal detailed card.
On the Deal detail, click the green plus » Quote / Sales Order
All information in the Deal is automatically transferred to the Quote / Sales Order.
Use the checkbox to synchronize the Quote / Sales order with the Deal, so that these records can transfer data between each other. So, for example, when you add Products to a Quote that is synchronized with a Deal, this will be stored in both records.
To create the Quote, don't forget to Save.
Adding products to a quote or sales order
When creating a Quote or Sales Order from a Deal where you do not have any Products listed, you can easily add them by using the Add Products button.
If you already have Products added to your Deal, creating a Quote or Sales Order will automatically add them to it. Adding Products is covered in more detail in this article.
