When working in the CRM system, you will have a situation when you need to link one record to another or want to delete the link. To do both, use the Recording Context panel.
The context of a record informs you which other records a particular record is linked to. You can use this panel to manually create links between records, or vice versa.
Add a new binding
For example, you want to link the imported e-mail to a meeting record (you can link any e-mail to a specific client). In the meeting detail, click the Link to another record button.
Click the double arrows next to the Activity box.
From the list of all activities related to a specific client, double-click to select the e-mail you want to attach to the meeting. Confirm the selection with the Set button and save the appointment.
A link to the selected e-mail has been added to the Meeting Record Context.
In the detail of the connected e-mail in the History tab, you will again find a link to the meeting.
Remove the binding
If you want to remove the link to the linked e-mail from the meeting record, reopen the meeting detail. In the Record Context, click the Link to Another Record button, and click the cross next to the Activity box.
Confirm the change with the Set button and finally don’t forget to save the meeting.
