You can import Products (goods and services) into Raynet all at once via an import template, which is in XLSX format.
With the template, it is possible to:
- Add new Products to Raynet
- update existing Products,
- add Products to Price Lists.
You can import or update up to 7,500 records at a time. Only an Administrator can import and update products.
You can find the import template in the dropdown under your name » Settings.
In the left menu, select XLSX Data Import » Product Import.
There are three steps. First, download the template to your computer.
In the template itself, you will find instructions on how to fill it out. In the second step, upload the filled-out template from your computer back to Raynet. You can simply drag it to the box with your mouse.
In the third step, the imported data is checked. If everything is correct, you can run the import.
Errors may occur in the import. In such cases, the number of errors will be displayed. The error types and the rows they had occurred on can be seen after clicking on show list of errors. Correct the errors, save the file and re-upload it. If the import file is error-free, click the Run Import button.
Important: If you do not correct the errors and still click the Run Import button, only the error-free data will be imported into Raynet
You can use the template to mass-update the products you already have in Raynet. Follow the same steps as for importing new Products. First, you need to download the import template. In it, you will see a list of all the products you currently have in your CRM system.
If the products are included in Price Lists, they are listed in the template as columns at the end of each row of the table. You can add products to these Price Lists simply by entering the price in the column. This will automatically add the Product to the Price List.
Important: You can edit values in all columns of the template. But please note, if you edit the Product Code, it will not be updated, but a new Product will be created.
