Automated emails in Raynet serve to facilitate and speed up communication with customers. You will use them when, for example, there is a change in a record in the CRM or when a preset time elapses. At that point, a preset email is automatically sent to up to 20 contacts. You can automatically send emails in pricing plans Professional and Enterprise. In automations you will find several preset templates in the Automation » Templates section.
To send automated emails, it is necessary to set up the owner of the emails.
Email owner settings
If the user is to be the owner of outgoing automated emails, they need to have their Mail connected.
Then, a new tab Automation will appear in the user's Settings Mail where it is necessary to Enable the use of the mailbox for sending automated emails. The action of sending the email will only be executed if the sender has this condition checked, that is, enabled.
In the Automation module, the user's mailbox will be displayed as available for sending automated emails. By enabling this feature, the user grants permission to all users who have the authority to create automations to use their email address for sending automated messages.
When any user creates an automation to send an email, a window for selecting a user will appear in the Actions panel, to whom the emails sent by this automation will be assigned. They will thus be the owner of these emails and will find them in their Mail.
These emails will be visibly marked in Mail with the Automation symbol (excavator).
The same automation symbol can also be found in the details of the email itself.
Important: Notifications and emails sent by automation will not be delivered to unverified user emails and to emails that are invalid.
Adding a signature
If a user has a signature set in Mail settings and has checked the option Attach signature when composing a new email, this signature will be automatically included in the body of the email.
