The Raynet Inbox works similarly to any other email client you are used to. Click on the Inbox button to see a list of your received emails. You can then easily move over to your sent messages in the left menu. In this article, we will take a look at how to work with incoming and outgoing emails in Raynet.
Incoming emails
Whenever you receive a new email, you will get a notification in the form of a number next to the Inbox icon in the main menu.
Click on the Inbox button to access an overview of your Received emails. Unread emails are shown in bold. In the list view, you can use the Filtering and Mass Edit features as you are used to from any other list view in Raynet. We go into more detail about working in the Inbox list view in this article.
To view the detail of an incoming email, click on the Subject or content of the email or double-click a row.
The opened email has a header with information about the sender and time of delivery. It also contains the body of the email. At the bottom, you can Reply or Forward the email.
On the right, you can manage the Sender and Recipient of the email. If you don't already have these contacts in Raynet, the Create contact menu will become available and you can choose what to do with the contact. You can also use the Raynetting feature.
In the Record Context window, you can link the received email to other records in Raynet, like an Account, Deal, Project, Sales Order, etc.
We talk more about the email detailed card in this article.
Outgoing emails
In the left Inbox menu, you will also find a list of all Sent e-mails. Here you can also use Filtering or perform Mass actions.
To write a new email, just click the + New email button. Reply or Forward any incoming email. This will take you to a pop-up window for writing emails. You need to fill in the Recipient or CC and BCC, the Subject, and write the email itself. In the Record Context window, you can link the email to other records in Raynet, and in the Attachments window, you can add files to the email.
If you click on the X to close the window, the system will ask you whether you want to Save the email to drafts or Discard it.
Before you send an email, you can assign a Security Level to it so that it remains visible only to users with that level. Just click on the lock icon.
You can Send Now or Schedule the email to be sent at a later date and time.
Once sent, you will find the email in your Sent emails or Scheduled emails overview.
If you send an email to an email address of an Account or Contact already stored in the CRM system, then the outgoing email is Raynetted automatically.
