On the Project detailed card in Raynet, you can perform a variety of actions. To see them all, click on the three dots. In this article, we will explain how all the actions work.
Send attachments by email
The Send attachments by email button can be used to quickly send an email along with attachments. When you click it, a dialog box will open. Here you can use the checkboxes to select Optional attachments to send.
For attachments to be visible, they need to be added to the Attachments panel in the Project.
Change project code
You can change the project code if necessary, but it always has to be unique.
Export
The Export button is used for downloading the Project report in PDF format. If you have created your own custom template for Projects, it will also appear in the menu.
Security
Clicking the Security button will pull up a window with system information about the Project.
It tells you who created or modified the record and when. You can lock each record you have access to, preventing other users from editing it. It can then be unlocked by either you or an Administrator. You can also set the Security Level in this window. If you are wondering who is authorized to see this record, you can check this using the Record Visibility feature.
Refresh
It can sometimes happen that several users are working with a record at the same time. Using the Refresh action will show the current state of the Project, including changes made by another user. Refreshing can also be useful when you have started editing data on a detailed card and need to get everything back to the original state.
Invalidate
By selecting the Invalidate option, the Project record will no longer be visible in the list of Projects. However, it will still be saved in Raynet.
To be able to see invalidated Projects in the list view, you first have to pin the Validity filter. Click on the button with the pencil icon » Add more filters » Validity. Then click on this button and select whether you want to display only invalid Projects or all Projects including invalid ones. Invalid records are distinguished from other records by being greyed out.
You can then renew the validity at any time by clicking on the Project in the list. This will take you to the Project detailed card, where you can click the three dots button » Renew Validity.
Delete
It is possible to permanently delete a Project, but only if the History is empty and the Project is not linked to any other records. If you want to delete a Project but you do not want to remove all the links, use the Invalidate feature.
