On the Price List detailed card, you can perform a variety of actions. In this article, we will take a closer look at them.
To see all the options, click on the three dots.
Duplicate
The Duplicate action creates an identical Price List. You only need to enter a unique code for the new Price List.
Information that will be different in duplicated Price Lists is the Code and the Valid to date. Everything else will stay the same, including the Products.
Export
The Export button will save the Price List record in PDF or XLSX format.
Set own exchange rate
It is possible to set your own exchange rate for an entire Price List that is in a foreign currency. Once set, the prices will be recalculated and any discounts and price increases for Products in the Price List will be reset. This will prevent the conversion of prices according to the current exchange rate. This is always set as default.
Security
Clicking the Security button will pull up a window with system information about the Price List.
It tells you who created or modified the record and when. You can lock each record you have access to, preventing other users from editing it. It can then be unlocked by either you or an Administrator. You can also set the Security Level in this window. If you are wondering who is authorized to see this record, you can check this using the Record Visibility feature.
Refresh
Refreshing a Price List can be useful when you have started editing data on the detailed card and you need to get everything back to the original state. After clicking the Refresh button, the Price List will return to the state it was in before you started editing it.
If several users are working on a Price List at the same time, refreshing the record will show the current state of the record with the changes made and saved by another user in the meantime.
Invalidate
By selecting the Invalidate option, the Price List record will no longer be visible in the Price List list view. However, it will still be saved in Raynet.
To be able to see invalidated Price Lists in the list view, you first have to pin the Validity filter. Click on the button with the pencil icon » Add more filters » Validity. Then click on this button and select whether you want to display only invalid Price Lists or all Price Lists including invalid ones. Invalid records are distinguished from other records by being greyed out.
Delete
The Price List will be permanently deleted from Raynet.
