There are several actions you can perform in a Price List. We will take a closer look at them in this article.
To see all the options, go to the detailed Price List card » three dots.
Duplicate
By duplicating you create an identical Price List. You only need to fill in the unique code of the new Price List.
The information that will be different in the duplicated Price Lists is the Code and the Valid to field. Everything else will remain the same, including the Products.
Change code
This option may be useful if you need to change your Price List code. It always has to be unique.
Export
The Export button is used for saving the Price List record in PDF or XLSX format.
Set own exchange rate
Set a Custom exchange rate for an entire Price List that is in a foreign currency. Once set, the prices will be recalculated and any discounts and price increases for the Products in this Price List will be reset. This will prevent the recalculation of List Prices according to the current exchange rate, which is always set as the default.
Security
Clicking the Security button will pull up a window with system information about the Price List.
It tells you who created or modified the record and when. An Administrator can see the entire History of changes. The Owner or Administrator have the option to lock each record, preventing other users from editing it. It can then be unlocked either by the Owner or an Administrator. You can also set the Security Level in this window. If you are wondering who is authorized to see this record, you can check this using the Record Visibility feature.
Refresh record
Refreshing a Price List can be useful when you have started editing data on the detailed card and you need to get everything back to the original state. After clicking the Refresh button, the Price List will return to the state it was in before you started editing it.
If several users are working with a Price List at the same time, refreshing the record will show the current state of the record with the changes made and saved by another user in the meantime.
Invalidate
By selecting the Invalidate option, the Price List record will no longer be visible in the list of Price Lists. However, it will still be saved in Raynet.
To be able to see invalidated Price Lists in the list view, you first have to pin the Validity filter. Click the button with the pencil icon » Add more filters » Validity. Then click this button and select whether you want to display only invalid Price Lists or all Price Lists including invalid ones. Invalid records are distinguished from other records by being greyed out.
Delete
Clicking Delete will permanently erase the Price List from Raynet. This is a non-reversible action.
