If you want to work with a Lead as with an Account, a Contact or a Business deal, you must convert it to one of these record types.
In the Lead detail click on the Action - Convert potential client to...
Select the record you want to convert the Lead to - e.g. Business Deal.
- If you choose to convert the lead into an Account, just fill in the form to create an account and the lead is automatically converted.
- If you choose to convert the lead into a Contact, you will first need to create or choose an account and then fill in the form to create a contact.
- When converting a lead to a Deal, you will have to create or choose an account and a contact. In the final step, you will create a business deal. Relations will be automatically created between all records so you do not have to fill any information in more than once.
Choose if you want to file the business deal under an account already existing within the CRM or to create a new account.

Edit the business deal form at your need and click the Complete and Open button.
