On the Lead detailed card in Raynet, you can perform a variety of actions. To see them all, click the three dots. In this article, we will explain how all the actions work.
Convert lead to...
It is possible to convert a Lead with its entire history to an Account, Contact, and Deal. Find out more in a separate article about Lead Conversion.
Google it
The Google it button will open a new tab on google.com with search results that relate to the lead name.
Export
Use the Export button to save the Lead detailed card in PDF to your device. The export can only be done by users with sufficient permissions.
Security
Clicking the Security button will pull up a window with system information about the Lead.
It tells you who created or modified the record and when. You can lock each record you have access to, preventing other users from editing it. It can then be unlocked by either you or an Administrator. You can also set the Security Level in this window. If you are wondering who is authorized to see this record, you can check this using the Record Visibility feature.
Merge with a different lead
If you find out that you have the same Lead recorded twice, you can merge them into a single Lead. Learn more about merging records in Raynet here.
Refresh
Refreshing a Lead can be useful when you have started editing data on the detailed card and you need to get everything back to the original state. After clicking the Refresh button, the Lead will return to the state it was in before you started editing it.
Delete
It is possible to delete a Lead, but only if the History is empty. This means that there are no linked Tasks or other activities and it has not yet been converted to an Account or Contact. Otherwise, you will get a message that the record cannot be deleted and you need to remove the links first.
So if there is an activity saved in the History, for example, a Task, you can click on it in the Lead History to get to the detailed card.
It is necessary to remove the link on the Task detailed card. You remove the link to the Leads in the blue box on the right and set the activity as private (or link it to a different Lead, Account, Contact...).
If you remove all records from the Lead History in this way, you can then simply delete it.
