In this article, we will show you which functions you can find directly on the Contact detailed card and what data you can record there.
1. Detailed card header
- You can navigate between tabs in the Contact detailed card header. The first two tabs, Basic Information and Other Information, are used for recording information. The most important tab is History. There you will find all the communication that has taken place. In the Discussion tab, you can add posts about the Contact for other Raynet users to read.
- You can mark a contact as a favorite by using the star. This will add them to your Bookmarks panel on the Raynet Dashboard.
- You will also find a green plus button on the contact detailed card, which you can use to add a related Deal, Quote, Project, Task, Meeting, Event, Email, Phone Call, and Letter.
- The three dots button right next to it allows you to perform these actions: Export, Security, Merge with a different contact, Refresh, Invalidate, and Delete. These actions are covered in a separate article, which can be found here.
2. Basic Information tab
3. Other Information tab
4. Custom Fields tab
If you create your own field for Contacts, a tab called Custom Fields will appear on the Contact card. You can find out which types of fields you can create and how to do so here.
Each user has the option to hide the custom fields that they do not need to see. Just click the Settings button (see picture) and specify which of the panels you want to see by using the checkbox.
5. History tab
The History tab is one of the most important features. It shows a timeline of both completed and scheduled activities. You can add another activity by clicking the green plus button. Click Export if you want to download the entire history in PDF format.
6. Discussion tab
The last tab of the detailed card is Discussion. It is used for leaving a message for other users to read. First add your colleagues to the discussion » then add a post.
