We require an email address verification when you create a CRM account, from newly added users, or when the login email address of an existing user changes. We require this to prevent messages (notifications, password resets, etc.) from being sent to incorrectly entered or someone else’s email address.
If you are a new user or if your login email has changed, you will receive an email from Raynet with a verification link.
When you click the Verify Email Address button, a confirmation dialog box will appear.
If you don't verify your email address this way, you will still be able to log in to Raynet, but you will see a question mark icon next to your name (top right).
By clicking your name » Email address has not been verified yet, you can send the verification email again.
If your email is not verified, you will not receive email notifications that are available in Notification Settings and you will not be able to use the following features:
- Send quote or sales order by email (from the Quote/Sales Order detail)
- Send attachments by email (from the Account detail)
- Send meeting invitation by email (from Meeting detail)
- Send corrective invoice by email (from Corrective Invoice detail)
Additionally, as an administrator, you will see a warning in Settings » Notifications if some users do not have a verified email address. In this case, a question mark icon will appear under the specific notification type.
Click on the question mark to see a dialog box that lists all users without a verified email address.
An administrator can also find information about unverified users in Settings » User Administration.
Important: Users who already had a user account when we implemented this feature will be unverified at this time, but will not be restricted in their work in Raynet. They will only find a warning that they are not verified and see the option to send themselves a verification email. They will receive notifications (unlike new users) and will also be able to send all emails from the details of the selected records.
