The calendar in the mobile app is a powerful tool that will make the job of, for example, salespeople on the go easier and also saves them some time. In this article, we will show you what the Calendar can do and how to work with it in the most efficient way.
Navigating the calendar
When you open the Calendar, you will see the current day and a weekly overview at the top. When you pull the weekly calendar down, you will see the current month. If you have an uncompleted Activity in the Calendar, the date will be red, if you have something scheduled for a day in the future, the date will be blue. You can easily move between days and months by swiping left or right. Tapping the Calendar icon will return you to the current day.
In the Calendar header, you will find a three lines button that quickly takes you to the main menu. Right next to it, tap the current month and year to open a drop-down box where you select a different month or year. Tap the Calendar icon from anywhere to switch to the current day. The filter button is located on the right side of the header, as are the three dots, which let choose your calendar view - agenda, daily, three-day, or monthly calendar.
It is also possible to create an Activity by tapping a specific time directly in the Calendar. Use the dots on the Activity box to adjust the time frame. At the bottom, fill in the Subject, select the Category, Account and the Activity type. In case you need to add more details like the Location, Participants or a Description, tap Show more.
Working with an activity in the calendar
Tapping the activity will take you to its detail, where you will be able to view all the tabs. If you tap and hold the activity, you can mark it as done. Tapping and holding the activity like this now also lets you use your finger to drag the activity to a different date or time - reschedule it.
Filtering in the calendar
The filter can be found in the top right corner of the Calendar (funnel icon). It allows you to filter by User, Activity Type and Category. If you no longer need the filter, tap the filter button » Clear filter.
Activity settings in the mobile app
The window that pops up when you want to create an activity can be customized in the menu (three lines icon) » Settings » Activity Settings. Choose the Date and time selection method - using the Calendar (Android) or a Dropdown (iOs), and the default activity type.
