With Emails in Raynet, you can see all the email exchanges you have sent to Raynet via the Inbox feature or the Email assistant feature. The transferred emails reflect reality, so it is not possible to edit incoming and outgoing emails, change their content, subject, email correspondents or even the time when the email arrived or was sent. Emails work in the same way as in your email client.
Email Inbox
In Raynet, you can connect your email account to the Inbox module. This integration involves connecting your email account with the system, not having a completely new email client. This feature is available only for accounts with the Professional and Enterprise pricing plans.
Email assistant
Another way to get emails to Raynet is by using the Email Assistant, whose address you add to the outgoing email, or forward your incoming email to. This will transfer the email to your Raynet account. It is then added directly to the History of the contact whose email address it is (i.e. to an Account or Contact). If the contact is new, a Lead is created in the CRM system.
Creating an email
If you are using the Inbox module in Raynet, then you create a new email by clicking the + New Email button. This will open the editor for writing an email and linking it to a contact or other record types (e.g. Deal, Quote, etc.).
If the Inbox module is enabled, you can also create an email from the detailed card of any record by clicking on the Green plus » Write Email button. This will pre-fill the information in the new email according to the type of record you are creating the email from.
If you are transferring emails with the Email Assistant, then you write the email from your email client and add the assistant’s email address into the BCC. The email will be transferred to the CRM system. To automatically assign an email to a specific record, you need to add the code of the selected record into the subject line of the email. See this article for more information.
Email list view
An overview of all emails can be found in the list view in the section Activities » Emails. You can use filtering in list views, view selected columns and change their order, mass edit emails, change the owner, lock and unlock records and also export emails.
Activity detailed card of emails
On the Activity detailed card of the email type, you will find all the information about the email that you can further work with. By clicking the Green plus button, you can create a follow-up Activity or a Deal. Other actions can be found after clicking on the three dots. On the right side of the detailed record you will find the record context panel. The main part of the window shows the email itself and attachments, the History, the Note, and the Discussion.
On the detailed Activity card of the email type, the Source is also listed, which informs about how the email got into the CRM system. The email can be received by:
- Inbox & Outbox
- Email assistant
- API
- from the original activity Email in Raynet (Unsupported email)
